I have x years of experience as a vocational rehabilitation teacher, where I have helped students with disabilities develop the skills and confidence they need to find and maintain employment. I have experience working with a variety of disabilities, including physical and cognitive impairments, and am knowledgeable about assistive technology and other resources that can help students succeed.

I begin by conducting an initial assessment to gather information about the student's abilities, interests, and goals. I then use this information to develop an individualized education plan (IEP) that addresses the student's unique needs. I also continually monitor the student's progress and make adjustments to the IEP as needed.

I help students with disabilities find employment by working with them to develop job search skills and by connecting them with potential employers. I also assist students with creating resumes and cover letters and help them prepare for interviews. Additionally, I work with employers to educate them about the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.

I work closely with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, vocational counselors, and job coaches, to ensure that students receive the services and support they need to succeed. I also collaborate with other teachers and school staff to coordinate services and accommodations and to ensure that students are receiving a comprehensive education.

I teach students with disabilities to use assistive technology by providing hands-on training and demonstrating how the technology can be used to complete tasks. I also provide ongoing support to ensure that students are able to continue using the technology effectively. Additionally, I work with assistive technology specialists to ensure that students have access to the most appropriate technology for their needs.

I help students transition from school to work by working with them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in the workplace.
