I have over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, including experience as a mechanic, service advisor, and manager. I have a strong understanding of automotive systems and am able to apply this knowledge in the classroom.

My teaching philosophy is to provide hands-on, experiential learning opportunities for students. I believe that by providing real-world examples and allowing students to work on projects and exercises, they will have a better understanding of the material and be better prepared for careers in the automotive industry.

I stay current with industry developments by attending industry conferences and workshops, reading trade publications, and staying in touch with colleagues in the industry. I also make sure to stay updated on any changes to certifications and licensing requirements for automotive professionals.

One successful lesson I designed and implemented was a project-based learning activity where students worked in teams to diagnose and repair a real-world vehicle problem. The students were able to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical setting, and the feedback from the class was overwhelmingly positive.
