In my opinion, the most important skills for an auto body repair technician to have are attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is crucial in order to ensure that repairs are done correctly and to the highest standards. Manual dexterity is necessary for performing the physical tasks involved in auto body repair. And problem-solving skills are needed to diagnose and fix any issues that may arise during the repair process.

I stay current by attending industry conferences and workshops, reading trade publications, and participating in ongoing training and certifications. I also make sure to stay informed about new tools and equipment, as well as any changes in regulations or safety standards. Furthermore, I also make sure to keep a close relationship with the current industry leaders and the car manufacturing companies in order to be updated with the latest industry trends.

I evaluate my students through a combination of hands-on assessments, written quizzes, and exams. I also use observation and feedback from my students and colleagues to evaluate the progress and learning of my students. Furthermore, I also regularly provide feedbacks and encourage an open-door policy for my students to come to me with any questions or concerns they may have, this way they can improve their skills and performance.
