Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The College of Engineering and Technology is comprised of the Departments of Computer Science, Construction Management, Engineering, and Technology Systems. The Department of Construction Management in the College of Engineering and Technology seeks a full-time Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor on a 9-month appointment to teach and advise students beginning in August 2025. This is a fixed term position which is annually renewed based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. All degrees must be conferred by accredited institutions.License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation

A combination of teaching and relevant industry professional experience at the project management level (preferably in the United States) of at least five years is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach undergraduate courses in BIM, Surveying, Residential Construction, Contract, Equipment Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Mechanical, and Electrical and Plumbing Systems (MEP). Applicants holding a Ph.D. degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field able to teach graduate courses will be preferably considered.Special Instructions to Applicant
