I believe in a mix of lectures, hands-on exercises, and group projects. Incorporating technology, like accounting software, also helps students gain practical experience.

I regularly attend workshops, subscribe to industry publications, and participate in professional networks to stay updated on the latest trends and standards in bookkeeping and accounting.

Many of my students have gone on to pursue successful careers in accounting. One student in particular started their own bookkeeping business which is thriving, and they often credit the foundational skills and confidence gained in my class.

I use a combination of quizzes, practical assignments, and exams to evaluate student understanding. Regular feedback sessions also allow me and the students to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
