• Process and document crime scenes, ensuring accurate and thorough collection of physical evidence.

Police Crime Scene Technician Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in forensic science, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Previous experience in crime scene investigation or law enforcement.
• Certification from a recognized forensic organization, such as IAI (International Association for Identification).
• Strong knowledge of forensic science protocols and crime scene processing procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and testifying purposes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple crime scene investigations simultaneously.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training in forensic science or criminal justice.
