Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant role located in San Jose, CA. The Teaching Assistant will provide support to lead teachers in managing classroom activities, assisting with lesson implementation, and fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for children. Responsibilities include helping students with tasks, offering individual support, and ensuring smooth daily classroom operations while adhering to Montessori principles.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Assistant Teaching and Working With Children, with a passion for fostering development in young learners
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, students, and families effectively
• Background in Education and basic proficiency in Mathematics
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Previous experience in a Montessori setting or familiarity with Montessori principles is a plus not required
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
