Teaching Assistant

Overview

The Lab assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills

Responsibilities

This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Assisting student with development of psychomotor skills.
• Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment.
• Student assessment/lab practical grading.
• Sharing clinical insights.
• Contextualizing didactic information for clinical application.

Qualifications

Proven effective interpersonal and conflict-management skills ability to take initiative in tasks that occur regularly at certain times of the year (ex: in preparation for an upcoming semester)Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment. Experience with clinical skills and procedures being taught. This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy.
