Valencia College is now hiring a Full-Time Manager, Professional & Continuing Education to join the Accelerated Skills Training program within Continuing Education. The Program Manager will oversee, create and implement strategic goals for programs within the Advanced Manufacturing sector.

The individual in this position will:

Oversee, create, and implement strategic goals for Accelerated Skills Training and Professional & Continuing Education programs, ensuring alignment with Valencia College’s learning-centered values and exercising independent judgment on significant matters.
Manage and monitor program performance and revenue, ensuring offerings meet industry standards and best practices, while proactively communicating needs and analyzing feedback to improve quality and profitability.
Lead curriculum development efforts by establishing program advisory boards and facilitating bi-annual sessions to keep content current with industry standards and certification partners.
Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment by supporting student success, addressing concerns, and collaborating with leadership and teams to resolve issues involving students, employers, and staff.
Drive attainment of program performance goals, including certification exam pass rates, enrollment, completion, placement, and financial targets.
Collaborate with instructors, students, staff, and recruiting teams to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness, updating business processes to improve efficiency and cost savings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community and industry partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support student success and program growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven ability to coach employees on performance and lead teams effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment and attention to detail.
Skilled in building partnerships and collaborating with business, industry, community organizations, and agencies.
Experience in program or project management, ideally in continuing education, adult learning, or workforce training; familiarity with advanced manufacturing/trades is a plus.
Experience in non-profit, community development, or workforce-related initiatives a plus; thrives in fast-paced environments.

Please Note: This position will operate in a primarily on-site environment.
Under the Florida Job Growth Grant (FJGG), this is a grant-funded position that has an anticipated end date of June 30, 2028.

Additional Information:

This position will operate in a primarily on-site environment.
Salary: $53,956 - $60,700 per year
