Licensed Teaching Assistant (LTA)

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Licensed Teaching Assistant
(LTA). The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist the teaching in delivering instruction,
and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Assist with classroom management and ensure student engagement.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
•  Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons.
• Help with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and grading.      
• Qualifications
  Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS LTA certification.
• Compensation
  The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary
  is commensurate with experience, $20,461-$25,000, based on experience, plus contractual benefits.
