1. Minimum education is a Masters in a human service or a closely related field.
2. Evidence of professional identity in the field of human services (i.e., articulation of what human services is, and education, teaching, work, or service in a human services context)
3. Licensure in a helping profession (e.g. LPC, LCSW, CSAC, LMFT)
4. 2-5 years of post-graduate experience in the helping professions (e.g., human services, social work, counseling, community development)
5. Experience teaching undergraduate students in human services or a closely related field
6. Evidence of commitment to Addictions Education
7. Demonstrated commitment to diversity

Preferred Qualifications

• History of service in the helping fields to include membership, leadership, or service in professional organizations (e.g., NOHS, ACA, NAADAC etc.)
