The Family and Consumer Sciences Education program offers a baccalaureate degree with teacher certification, post-baccalaureate teacher certification, a master’s degree with an online option, and a doctoral degree with an online option. The FCSE Program, http://www.depts.ttu.edu/hs/fcse/, is housed in one of the nation’s largest Colleges of Human Sciences, http://www.depts.ttu.edu/hs/h. FCSE participates in two distance education alliances, Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance and Family and Consumer Sciences Alliance. The Curriculum Center for Family and Consumer Sciences is housed in the Family and Consumer Sciences Education Program providing collaborative research and professional development opportunities.

The College of Human Sciences and the Office of the Vice President for Research offer research seed grants and research start-up packages to new faculty. The Office of the Vice President for Research and the TTU Teaching Learning and Professional Development Center offer a variety of excellent services and free workshops to faculty. Summer teaching opportunities are available.
